of Our Post The official name of our Post
is Riley Leroy Pitts Post Number GR07, Worms/Mannheim, Germany, The American
Legion, Department of France. The Post is chartered through the
Departmental Headquarters of the Department of France by the National
Headquarters of the American Legion and as enacted by the Congress of the
United States of America. The Post is established according to DODI
1000.15, and as a Private Organization under AR 210-22 and the Commander,
293rd BSB, is the approving authority

Our
Charter The American Legion activities of
this Post shall be conducted on a non-profit basis as a Veteran's
organization, in support of The American Legion National programs:
Americanism, Children and Youth, National Security, Legislative, Finance,
Economic, House, Service, Graves Registration and Memorials, Sons of The
American Legion, Auxiliary of The American Legion, Uniformed Groups
Membership and Post Activities, Public Relations, and Veterans Affairs and
Rehabilitation.
